About Eastern Airlines
Eastern Airlines is bringing back the iconic flying "hockey stick" logo, carving out a specialized niche in long-haul scheduled and charter operations. We fly large Boeing 767 widebody aircraft to underserved international markets, focusing heavily on Latin America and unique global destinations. We are looking for independent, fiercely dedicated aviation professionals who want to help build a legacy. If you desire a non-traditional path in the airline industry, Eastern offers a dynamic frontier.
Job Summary
As a Long-Haul Cabin Host, you will operate almost exclusively on widebody international flights. You will be the face of our resurgent brand, providing warm, classic hospitality to passengers traveling to see family or conduct business across the Americas and beyond. You must be a self-starter, capable of working effectively in a smaller corporate environment where your individual feedback and leadership directly impact the company's growth and service standards.
Comprehensive Responsibilities
- International Safety Compliance: Master the stringent FAA and international safety standards required for long-haul Boeing 767 operations. Ensure absolute readiness for any mid-flight emergency.
- Extended Service Delivery: Manage multiple service flows during flights exceeding 8 hours. Execute hot meal distributions, duty-free sales, and continuous cabin monitoring to ensure passenger comfort.
- Bilingual Communication: Utilize language skills to assist passengers with complex international customs forms and arrival documentation.
- Pioneering Spirit: Work collaboratively with a close-knit crew to troubleshoot logistical challenges at new or developing international outstations.
Exceptional Employee Benefits
- Widebody Exclusivity: Gain the rare experience of working exclusively on widebody aircraft right from the start of your career.
- Unique Destinations: Enjoy layovers in vibrant, culturally rich cities across South America and specialized global charter destinations.
- Solid Foundation: Benefit from competitive base pay, international flight pay, and comprehensive health/retirement benefits.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age with a High School diploma or equivalent.
- Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is incredibly valuable and highly preferred.
- A valid passport and the endurance to manage significant time-zone changes and long duty periods.
